Our educational field trips are designed to align with NCEA Achievement Standards. Students can collect data on tourism, learn about the sustainability of tourism as an industry, find out how tourism has shaped Rotorua’s environment, and more. School lunch combos, curriculum-based teacher resources, and student talks are available upon request.
A Rotorua day trip to the Tamaki Māori Village will see you forge a deeper connection with Māori culture and history. You’ll attend a Whakatau ceremony on arrival, and afterwards be seated for an interactive lunch experience.
