Hamurana Springs Nature Reserve

Mt Kākaramea – Rainbow Mountain
Around 20 minutes south of Rotorua, Rainbow Mountain is a 743-metre-high volcano and one of the region’s most colourful hikes. The trail climbs past bright crater lakes, steaming vents and patches of native forest before opening out to wide views at the summit.
