Skyline Rotorua regrets to advise customers that over the period of 14th – 27th August 2019, the Gondola will be offline and undergoing an extensive scheduled preventative maintenance programme.
Complementary vans will be running in place of the Gondola when purchasing tickets for other activities.
The majority of other experiences across the site will remain open and operational for this entire period. There will be additional vans providing complimentary transportation between the top and bottom terminals.
In addition to the Gondola closure, unfortunately, the Skyline Rotorua MTB Park or the Stargazing experience will not operate.
With this being the case, all Skyline combos over this period will be unavailable for purchase. Instead, customers will have the ability to purchase individual products on-site and are encouraged to take advantage of the complimentary transport to the top complex.
Please note that this type of major maintenance is not scheduled to take place again until 2034, therefore, this is not anticipated to be annual maintenance activity.
Unfortunately, there may be delays during this period while waiting for transportation to and from the top terminal. Although we don’t anticipate this will cause any inconvenience, we do apologise for not being able to provide the Gondola experience over this period.
