Crankworx Overview

The world’s largest mountain biking festival has expanded to become a nine-day event, descending on Skyline Rotorua Gravity Park from the 17th to 25th of March 2018.

The festival begins with the season opener for eight-stop Enduro World Series with the GIANT Toa Enduro, as well as two downhill races, the Crankworx Rotorua Deep Summer Photo Challenge, and all of the Crankworx Series Events including the fight for aerial supremacy in the Crankworx Triple Crown of Slopestyle.

The family will be rapt with the Kidsworx events and there’s live entertainment to jam to. You can ride the world-class trails too with uplift or day passes available for Skyline Gravity Park mountain biking with 12km of gondola accessed trails ranging from Grades 2-6.

Important Information

Riding Skyline Trails during Crankworx

Skyline Gravity Park trails will be open to Crankworx ticket holders every day throughout the festival (weather dependent). Anyone looking to ride the park will need to purchase a 2-hour session pass ($25) or get a demo bike and a ticket from an exhibitor.

Uplift passes will not be available for purchase during Crankworx. 

Crankworx ticket holders can use the gondola without a bike for the duration of the festival.

Some of the trails will be affected from the 17th to the 25th March 2018.

Hey Hey team!
The park is running super today with a bit of moisture over the weekend helping to keep the dust down a bit.
It is the working week so the team will be back out on Mr Black doing the hard Mahi. Today we have the mega team in today so 4 of the best fullas going around will be going hard on the tools.
You patrol team today is Jords and Nathan.
