Skyline offers dining in our fully licensed restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our Terraces Cafe caters for your casual dining requirements.
Skyline Cableway Restaurant will be closed for night dining on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights. This will be effective from Sunday the 25th of April until Tuesday the 19th of October. After the 19th the Cableway Restaurant will be operating 7 nights a week again. Skyline will still continue to operate daily for buffet breakfast, lunch and luge.
However we are accepting larger group enquiries (corporate, conference or private) that are looking at our venue on the nights we are closed. For more information on what constitutes a large group please feel free to contact our reservations team via email or phone.

Our fully licensed Cableway Restaurant and Bar offers a tempting buffet selection in a relaxed atmosphere for groups or couples to enjoy. Take in an uninterrupted 180 degree view of the city whilst you sample our full buffet lunches and dinners or cafe style meals throughout the day.
"Fresh, fresh, fresh and fresher" is what executive chef Carl Rayner repeats to his kitchen team. This lead to the introduction of a live mussel tank into the Restaurant, steamed open in front of the guests straight from the tank "you don't get any fresher than that" says Carl.
"Feed back from our night dining says it all ... our team are focused on quality and having all our guests departing saying that it was the best meal they have had" says General Manager Neville Nicholson.
Seafood chowder, prawns, shrimp, freshly steamed mussels, grilled salmon, Bay of Plenty lamb cutlets, grilled sirloin steak, grilled chicken, roast kumara with cashews... plus marinated berries, pavlova, gateaux, pastries, ice cream, NZ cheese board and petit fours.
