Mountain biking access via Skyline Gondola is open September through May, providing 8 months of epic riding!

Opening Day: September 15, 2016 (weather/conditions permitting)

Closing Day: May 14, 2017
 

December Opening Times

Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: 9am - 7pm.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 9am - 8pm.

Half Day Pass Times: 9am - 1pm & 1pm - 5pm 

Closing times vary according to daylight hours. Our usual closing time is 5pm and is extended through until 8pm as light allows in the peak summer months. Contact the Skyline Team on +64 3 441 0101 for current closing times.
 

Important Information

MTB operations at Skyline may be affected by QLDC’s planned tree removal adjacent to the gondola line. Tree removal is scheduled to be ongoing for the duration of the 2016/17 MTB season. During this time, gondola access to the Queenstown Bike Park may be limited.

Blackout Dates: 

Due to peak holiday periods & special events our mountain bike service will be subject to the following Blackout dates (closures).

Christmas: MTB access CLOSED 25 December, 2016 - Sunday 8, January, 2017. 

                 Monday 9 January - Sunday 15 Jan, OPEN daily from 3pm - 8pm.

                 Monday 16 January - OPEN as per normal (weather/conditions permitting)

 

Easter: MTB access CLOSED 14 - 17 April, 2017.
