FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of New Zealand’s leading tourism operators. Skyline Queenstown is recognised internationally as a quality hospitality and activities complex and is situated in New Zealand’s premier tourism destination, Queenstown.
This role offers diverse challenges due to a unique product range, comprising of our award winning buffet restaurant, cafe and conference facilities, all of which are accessed by our iconic Gondola.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the profitable operation and effective management of all food and beverage departments whilst ensuring the highest standards of customer care and staff satisfaction.
The key accountabilities for the position include the following:
Ø Management and development of all food and beverage and purchasing staff
Ø Achievement of financial targets, development and implementation of food and beverage business plans and budgets
Ø Maintaining and continually improving the standards and quality of the products and services in the food and beverage departments
The ideal applicant will be able to manage a large team through excellent leadership skills, will have the ability to identify quality issues and develop and implement initiatives for improvement.
We would expect the successful applicant to have considerable management experience in food and beverage from a large catering operation, restaurant, or hotel and have the ability to build and develop a team focussed on providing professional customer care.
