Crankworx Rotorua will once again host the Giant Toa Enduro along with the World Tour disciplines; Dual Speed and Style, Downhill, Pump Track and of course the signature event at all Crankworx stops, Slopestyle.
“The mountain bike world is changing and the Crankworx tribe has front row seats to the action,” says Kinnaird.
“The athletes are always looking to go bigger and better and spectators want to feel the excitement. There is no other series in the world that showcases mountain biking while letting fans ride side by side with their hero’s.”
Crankworx Rotorua is a natural fit to the World Tour calendar and will once again be the biggest mountain bike event to hit the Southern Hemisphere.
“Year one was huge. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we know what we have to do to make it even better,” says event director for Crankworx Rotorua and owner of Mountain Bike Rotorua, Tak Mutu.

“The trails of both Skyline Rotorua Gravity Park and Whakarewarewa Forest Mountain Bike Park were absolutely buzzing earlier this year.
“2016 will see us really start to hit our strides as we look to get more people riding and there will be a few new additions to the festival that will have people excited. Watch this space.”
