MasterChef winners debut cookbook at Stratosfare

Posted on Tuesday, 31 March 2015

New Zealand MasterChef winners Kasey and Karena Bird are launching their cookbook, For the Love Of, at Skyline Rotorua on April 14, with foodie fans invited to join in the fun!

The launch experience includes a return gondola ride, signed copies of For the Love Of (RRP: $59.99), the opportunity to mingle and talk with Kasey and Karena, along with a delicious dining experience at Stratosfare – which includes their latest mussel dish designed especially for our menu.

For the Love Of is a self-written and published cookbook that is vibrant, stylish and filled with easy and delicious recipes. Paired with beautiful scenic shots of Karena and Kasey’s small beachside village of Maketu (just 40 minutes from Rotorua), this book highlights New Zealand’s unique culture.

Karena and Kasey had a very clear vision for the cookbook, with the philosophy being: inspiration not intimidation, humble ingredients made special, and flavour is Queen.

“Food has always been at the heart of our family gatherings and it is something we closely associate with aroha. We want to share what is important to us through our love of food."

The Rotorua launch will be held at Skyline Rotorua’s Stratosfare Restaurant on Tuesday, April 14, starting at 5.30pm. Tickets are $89 per person and include a signed copy of For the Love Of, meet and greet opportunities with the sisters, gondola passes and dinner at Stratosfare. For reservations for the Karena and Kasey Book Launch experience email Rotorua@skyline.co.nz or phone 07 347 0027.
